Brittany M. Ricketts is an Associate Attorney in our San Jose office. She joined LFLM in 2024, and represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured employers in all areas of state workers’ compensation law.
Ms. Ricketts earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from Santa Clara University, where she distinguished herself academically and in extracurricular activities. She received the Witkin Award for excellence in legal research and writing and was a standout competitor in the Honors Moot Court Competition, showcasing her potential as a top litigator. Her legal training included a prestigious internship with judges on the Santa Clara County Family Law Bench and a unique opportunity to study International Human Rights law in Costa Rica, a key hub for American Human Rights issues.
Ms. Ricketts is also deeply committed to community service, having volunteered extensively with organizations such as the Domestic Violence Coalition, Record Clearance Project, and the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center. Known for her collaborative spirit, leadership, and teaching ability, she not only provides exceptional legal counsel to her clients but also educates them on complex Workers’ Compensation issues.
