  • Overview

    Janet A. Zamecki is a Partner in the Oakland office of LFLM. She joined LFLM in 2004 as a law clerk and then in 2006 as an attorney. Her practice includes defending insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all areas of state workers’ compensation defense.

    Prior to her legal career, Ms. Zamecki received an undergraduate degree in Fine Art and a masters in Fine Art Photography. Subsequently, she worked in the field of technical publications for localization and translation companies as well as software companies. Following in the footsteps of many of her family members, Ms. Zamecki attended law school earning her law degree from University of San Francisco, School of Law.

    Ms. Zamecki is a frequent presenter at seminars, conferences and client-specific training in workers’ compensation. She also writes for and co-edits the LFLM Newsletter and E-Flashes as well as outside publications including but not limited to California Workers’ Compensation Reporter and various chapters in the CEB Workers’ Compensation Practice Guide.
