This practice group specializes in representing employee retirement associations before Boards of Retirement established under the County Employees Retirement Law of 1937 (CERL). The attorneys in the practice group provide representation to associations at all phases, including: providing investigative services, assistance in discovery, assistance in rule-making, subrogation, and litigation services for public entities relative to county employees' claims under CERL for service and nonservice-connected disability retirements.
