Susan Hastings is the Managing Partner of our Oakland/Concord office. She joined LFLM in 2001 following eight years practicing state workers’ compensation insurance defense at a prior private firm as well as in-house counsel for two major insurance carriers. After joining LFLM, Ms. Hastings expanded her practice to include public agency defense and disability retirement.
Ms. Hastings earned her undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She went on to earn her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. Ms. Hastings is certified as a Workers’ Compensation Legal Specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. She is a frequent speaker/lecturer/instructor at a variety of industry functions including PARMA, CAJPA and RIMS.
