Barbara P. Banez is an Associate Attorney in our Los Angeles office. She joined LFLM in 2016, and defends insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all areas of state workers’ compensation law.
Prior to joining LFLM, Ms. Banez worked for another private defense firm handling workers’ compensation cases for self-insured employers, third party administrators and major insurance companies. She also worked in-house for a national insurance company. Prior to being admitted to practice in California, Ms. Banez worked as a claims adjuster for 8 years. She also clerked with the Philippine Supreme Court in the chambers of an Associate Justice.
Having been born in the Philippines, Ms. Banez is also fluent in Tagalog.
Ms. Banez dabbles in cooking and baking, and is an admitted “techie”. She is adept at finding information in the internet.
