That experience gave Mr. Myers a lot of firsthand experience in dealing with industrial injuries. Mr. Myers continued to work in the farming industry while attending SJCL and raising four children together with his wife, Laura. Later a fourth son would arrive making a total of five children. Mr. Myers began with a law firm specializing in workers’ compensation back in 2001 at the encouragement of the claims examiner with whom he worked with while in the farming industry. While Mr. Myers has interest in immigration and labor law, he finds defending insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims to be satisfying. Mr. Myers and his family currently live in a small farming community with an average high school graduation class of only 50 students. Personal and hands-on involvement in the community and other activity is what ultimately brings the rewards in life.
